Yeah - I have a good number of them on vinyl but not the Matthews, Hartman or several others. That is one set I figure not to miss out on. Buddha the Magnificent
R.I.P. Col Bruce https://www.jambase.com/article/jam-scene-patriarch-col-bruce-hampton-died What a blast it was to catch this band in the Athens/Atlanta GA area back in the late 60's - early '70s. The last time I saw them a few years back, I drove up to ATL to catch a one-off reunion show at The Variety Playhouse. The last time before that, they opened for Mahavishnu Orchestra in ATL circa 1972, also causing me to do the five hour drive up to ATL. I saw Col Bruce many times, including spectacular shows with Aquarium Rescue Unit at the Fox Theater, opening for Widespread Panic.

rostasi
"Col. Bruce Hampton dies hours after 70th birthday celebration at the Fox Theatre" He was kind of a cross between Beefheart and David Thomas. Liked his work a lot.
