WWOZ was given a cassette of the then long-unavailable LP by bassist McNeal Breux's daughter. I was enchanted, and still love this album. paul secor
Great story, Jeff. Those few sentences added something to the music for me.

Gheorghe
Great Joe Henderson with fantastic personnel, KD of course, McCoy Tyner, Richard Davis and Elvin Jones. Great music, and the studio version of KD´s Short Story which I first heard on the STeeplechase album with the same title. I´ve always been a great fan of Joe Henderson. sambrasa
Masaomi Kondo, Hitoribochi no Heya (1971). Spoken word record with backing by members of The Freedom Unity band. I checked it out for the music but stayed for vocals. Been learning Japanese for several years but always struggled with understanding speech. This I could understand, which was nice. Yeah, music's fine, too.
