London Broil? Wrapped in foil?

That's a very tasty treat.

London Broil wrapped in foil

is a thing we all should eat.

What the h*ll is that ?

Is it what we call ‘roast beef’?

👍👍!!

I listened to it last week .

Great the two groups, the Swedish All Stars and Art Farmer, and the legendary Atlantic City Band of Tadd Dameron.
It´s interesting there´s also a BN album with the same title "Memorial" also featuring two different recording sessions .

I have the Japanese mini lp version and it’s odd because the sessions as compared to the liner notes are in inverse order.

Interesting if uneven session - and quite unlike the two LPs cut with Tubby Hayes.

You’re right; ‘Humming Bird’ is not top notch Gonsalves. And -sorry to say- Kenny Wheeler’s playing tends to depress me.

Both ‘Just Friends’ and ‘Change of Setting’ with Tubby are in my wish list.

Both are out on CD (Just Friends on Vocalion), strongly recommended.

I suspect that Gonsalves not at his best on the Deram thanks to his ‘fixer’, Jackie Sharpe. Kenny Wheeler sounds good on it though (although I agree that he adds a melancholy edge).
