NP: The Horace Silver Quintet - Song for My Father (Blue Note) So much about this record works perfectly. I guess it's no wonder that it was a hit. Then again, these days, the idea of a "jazz hit" almost seems like a contradiction. Late last night: Brother Jack McDuff - Who Knows What Tomorrow Is Going to Bring (Blue Note) Yeah! Quote

HutchFan Posted October 2, 2018 Report Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) Clark Terry - The Globetrotter (Vanguard) Clark must've really liked that red plaid sport-coat. It (re)appears on the cover of at least one other album. And it seems like I've seen him wearing it in other photos as well. EDIT: Maybe I've been listening to too much CT if I'm noticing these sorts of (trivial) things! Edited October 2, 2018 by HutchFan Quote
