This is a fine recording of the Gillespie big band too, preserved in very good audio quality. I realize this recording from 61 years ago, but did any one here ever happen to see this version of Dizzy's big band performing live? Is there any surviving video footage of this aggregation in action? And now for something completely different: Disc 1 of 2.
