Always had soft spot for this recording which features also some of George Young`s finest hours and based on this album I had huge expectations regarding the career of Charnett Moffett .... which somehow remained unfullfilled ....

Furthermore Lew Soloff was an essential contributor in the Gil Evans Bigband ....

I saw Lew Soloff in both the big bands of Gil Evans and Carla Bley.

Saw Soloff with Evans too. I think the other trumpets were Miles Evans and Ian Carr.
