This is great Pullen an Murray in cracking form. Got this at the time of release. I was hoovering up any Murray I could find. I went a bit cold thereafter but returning to his music of the 70-mid 90s , I find none of it wanting. Estimation restored.

I became an instant Murray fan when I heard Flowers for Albert (india Navigation) when it first came out.   I too hoovered up every Murray album I could find and still do to a large extent though I wouldn't call myself a completist now.  That said there is not much I don't have.  One or two don't work for me but most are pretty good.  Like his live performances Murray is very reliable.

We're all different. I love Cassandra and find much of her work for Blue Note exciting.

She is fabulous. Beautiful voice and highly creative music.

Quicksilver, which I think is out of business now, issued a few great jazz records, this being among them, plus Mad About Tadd, by Continuum, which is a fabulous record.
