I was hoovering up any Murray I could find. I went a bit cold thereafter but returning to his music of the 70-mid 90s , I find none of it wanting. Estimation restored. I became an instant Murray fan when I heard Flowers for Albert (india Navigation) when it first came out. I too hoovered up every Murray album I could find and still do to a large extent though I wouldn't call myself a completist now. That said there is not much I don't have. One or two don't work for me but most are pretty good. Like his live performances Murray is very reliable.

Clunky
The small series of recordings that came out of Brazil on Sesc are a fine Braxton, a solid William Parker and Roscoe's Sustain and Run.
