I like a lot of vocalists of all styles, but I confess, Cassandra Wilson simply bores me to tears.  I have never understood why she is such a favorite of the jazz critics.

She certainly wasn't/isn't a favourite of Cook and Morton of The Penguin Guide to Jazz. I remember some pretty harsh reviews.

We're all different. I love Cassandra and find much of her work for Blue Note exciting.
