JSngry Posted April 13, 2018 Author Report Posted April 13, 2018 With a little imagination, this can often enough turn into a lost Jackie McLean album. With no imagination at all, it's still a good record. Quote

HutchFan Posted April 13, 2018 Report Posted April 13, 2018 Latino con Cal Tjader -- with Mongo Santamaria, Willie Bobo & Vince Guaraldi (Fantasy) CD collects 2 Tjader LPs: Demasiado Caliente and Latino! Including Guaraldi's name on the cover is a bit misleading. He only appears on one track. Quote
Clunky Posted April 13, 2018 Report Posted April 13, 2018 YANA——Baby/People——(two rivers) UK Corey Mwamba , Dave Kane and Joshua Blackmore. Exact instrumentation isn’t documented but it basically vibes/percussion/bass trio. Very spontaneous sounding music which is beautifully recorded. Mwamba’s vibes sound warm and rounded so it might be marimba he’s playing, I’m not sure. Sounds great , I’d love to see these guys live . Think they’re active in Leeds Quote
