Like many of us I've been revisiting Cecil Taylor recordings in the past few days in light of recent death. I've played a few discs from Corona One box set - 2 Ts for a lovely tea. A set of fine music impaired by sound that's well below 1990s standards. Given how few Berlin FMPs I have from around that time, it'll have to do.

Cecil Taylor---- Nefertiti , the Beautiful one has come----(Revenant) discs 1& 2.

going back in time to 1962 and the reissue of Cafe Montmartre dates on Revenant. I'd forgotten that this issue has two hidden tracks , one at the end of each CD. I assume these are Call( alt take) and Untitled as listed in online discographies. Listening to this whole set in one long listening session ( with headphones on) = intense.

I don't think I've ever seen this one before. It appears to be a Japanese-only release. I have two of their other release, "Live!" and "Heavy Juice". They make a great team.

I don't know the one called "Live" but I have this one along with "Heavy Juice" -

I bought "Live!" directly from Harry Allen at one of his recent appearances at the Sahara Jazz Club in Methuen. The Amazon listing is here: https://www.amazon.com/Live-Scott-Hamilton-Harry-Allen/dp/B01BIMDJIS/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1523303647&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=harry+allen+scott+hamillton

I'm looking forward to Harry's next swing through Jocko's club in September.
