Clunky Posted April 9, 2018 Report Posted April 9, 2018 Like many of us I've been revisiting Cecil Taylor recordings in the past few days in light of recent death. I've played a few discs from Corona One box set - 2 Ts for a lovely tea. A set of fine music impaired by sound that's well below 1990s standards. Given how few Berlin FMPs I have from around that time, it'll have to do. Cecil Taylor---- Nefertiti , the Beautiful one has come----(Revenant) discs 1& 2. going back in time to 1962 and the reissue of Cafe Montmartre dates on Revenant. I'd forgotten that this issue has two hidden tracks , one at the end of each CD. I assume these are Call( alt take) and Untitled as listed in online discographies. Listening to this whole set in one long listening session ( with headphones on) = intense. Quote
