Clunky
Like many of us I've been revisiting Cecil Taylor recordings in the past few days in light of recent death. I've played a few discs from Corona One box set - 2 Ts for a lovely tea. A set of fine music impaired by sound that's well below 1990s standards. Given how few Berlin FMPs I have from around that time, it'll have to do.  Cecil Taylor---- Nefertiti , the Beautiful one has come----(Revenant) discs 1& 2. going back in time to 1962 and the reissue of Cafe Montmartre dates on Revenant. I'd forgotten that this issue has two hidden tracks , one at the end of each CD. I assume these are Call( alt take) and Untitled as listed in online discographies. Listening to this whole set in one long listening session ( with headphones on) = intense.
