Tell me more?

It was my first listen. Just picked up the CD. So my impressions of the music aren't fully formed. That said, it's Barretto's last recording. Fairly straight ahead jazz, less Latin than I expected. But very well done.

I liked most of Barretto's various outputs, but the last years of fully organic "Latin Jazz" are sui generis in my opinion. Kinda surprised me that I hadn't heard of this one, but now I have!🎄🎄🎄

Haven't listened in a while.

Never listened at all. Wow. Where in the wide world of sports did this LP manifest? Know little more beyond what Izenzon recorded with Ornette.

Now

Another cold day for Spring.

Starting off with some Kenny Burrell and Harold Land with Bill Evans, a nice way to ease into the day.
