BFrank Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Been listening to this singer lately. I really like what she does with her voice and her songs. This is how she describes herself, but I would say she's more like McRae than any of those others. Far too many new singers try to emulate Ella and Sarah, so it's nice to hear one who doesn't. [Singer Vanisha Gould was inspired by artists like Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Joni Mitchell, Carmen McRae and Ella Fitzgerald, she has successfully curated her own sound as a composer and band leader. Performing originals and music from the Great American Songbook on stages both in New York and overseas, she aspires to continue sharing her voice with audiences in New York and beyond.] Quote

Super liked growing up listening to mid 70's-early 80's jazz on the radio, one of my favorites. Edited 2 hours ago by Holy Ghost Forgot one! Quote
