Have never heard about him. But the rhythm section is interesting. For me especially J.C. Moses who was a great drummer both playin bop (excellent with Bud) and more free stuff on ESP and so, I love him but terrible how it came that he died so early for such a senseless thing (stabbed in the back with a knife, finally dying of kidney ailment). 
NHOP somehow I have my thing with him. He is the Oscar Peterson of the bass😨,he is ok as long as he walks with the band, but his solos have that "Peterson Feeling" for me. 
Funny how white jazz musicinans looked in the 60´s , much more like clerks 😄
