jazzbo
An early trio recording by the man who would become Peter Nero shortly thereafter. “Bernie Nerow Trio” Mode/Muzak Records Japan lp facsimile cd. Like all these Muzak reissues the remastered sound is wonderful. 300×299 9.81 KB

jazzbo
No, it's a label that issues Japanese releases of select jazz titles, as far as I can tell a legitimate one--but I can't say that with certainty. I don't know what equipment they use, but I would like to see more reissues and issues sounding this good. They also are well-packaged. It definitely has Bob Brookmeyer. Lord was not helpful, though I did not spend a huge amount of time going through it. The music and audio quality were both very good in my opinion. Don Bagley “The Soft Touch” Dot/Blue Moon cd Bass – Don Bagley Drums – Shelly Manne Flute, Alto Flute, Piccolo Flute – Paul Horn French Horn – Tommy Loy Piano – Jimmy Rowles I originally bought this years ago because Jimmy Rowles was in the piano chair. A good reason! But I’ve learned to really like the album, and it led me to buy the other two Bagley leader dates.
