I didn't realise they were reissued on CD officially.

I have the set on LP but would be interested in supplementing some with CD copies, especially if they're remastered?

Have to correct myself, as another "legal" CD release was issued much earlier aka in 1990 by Nippon Phonogram "Fontana New Jazz Series" which I do own/sounds very  fine .... hope "jazzbo" can comment on the 2021 Muzak releases ....

I don't have any other issue to compare it to, but this Muzak cd sounds spectacularly good, as do the others that I have from them. I would love to know what ADC and DAC etc. equipment they use . . . . Fantastic sound.

From Kenny Barron in 1982 (Golden Lotus) to Kenny Barron in 2024 (Beyond This Place).

Fun fact re: continuity -- Steve Nelson is on both of these KB records, made 42 years apart.

Obscure Japanese reissues. Can't say they're essential, but I like pianist Takeshi Shibuya (he also sometimes plays organ), who is on both. First is a duet album, second a quartet.

A cool morning, quiet with heavy dew. After so many years in Texas, I love this weather deeply.

Right now
