When I arrived home from work tonight, a package was waiting for me -- a big box of used CDs that I'd ordered from Discogs. 

Just finished:

Pat Martino - The Maker (Evidence/King Japan, 1995)
with Jim Ridl (p), Marc Johnson (b) and Joe Bonadio (d)

Martino in a contemplative mood. Superb.

Wow.  I did not know "Happiness" was an Allen Toussaint song.  I only knew it from the version recorded by the late disco diva Sylvester and never bothered to look at the composer credit.
