Drummer Roger Humphries is someone I mainly associate with some of Horace Silver's excellent Blue Note recordings of the 60's.

Humphries is also on the delightful Carmell  Jones album - "Jay Hawk Talk" with Jimmy Heath, Barry Harris and George Tucker.

I own both the 3CD and 8CD versions, which each have different purposes for me.  2LP set was the first jazz album I ever bought in 1972.

I have both sets as well but I remember reading somewhere (maybe the liner notes of the 8cd release?) that the 3cd set was not recorded at the Lighthouse but I think another club called the And/Or (or something like that). Am I wrong about this?
