Peter Friedman
Annette Sanders is a highly interesting jazz vocalist. While the first 2 tunes were nothing really special, the rest of the album was clearly a 5 star performance.

Peter Friedman
Drummer Roger Humphries is someone I mainly associate with some of Horace Silver's excellent Blue Note recordings of the 60's. Humphries is also on the delightful Carmell Jones album - "Jay Hawk Talk" with Jimmy Heath, Barry Harris and George Tucker.
felser
I own both the 3CD and 8CD versions, which each have different purposes for me. 2LP set was the first jazz album I ever bought in 1972.

I have both sets as well but I remember reading somewhere (maybe the liner notes of the 8cd release?) that the 3cd set was not recorded at the Lighthouse but I think another club called the And/Or (or something like that). Am I wrong about this?
jazzbo
I think that is incorrect. There was another release (unofficial) from Fresh Sounds that was put out as from the Lighthouse. . . but was not. I think that is the item you are thinking of. https://www.allmusic.com/album/release/live-at-the-lighthouse-fresh-sound-mr0001422739 Edited May 9 by jazzbo
