HutchFan
Michel Petrucciani - 100 Hearts (Concord / George Wein Collection) Terrific solo piano, full of joie de vivre. Edited September 27, 2017 by HutchFan
HutchFan
Martial Solal - Nothing But Piano (MPS) Another solo piano recital by a Frenchman. Solal's approach is very different than Petrucciani's, much more digressive and witty. I love them both. EKE BBB
Louis Armstrong – Satchmo: A Musical Autobiography (Decca/Verve, 1956) Probably my favourite collection of post-30s material from the great Satchmo.

jazzbo
Miles Davis, "In A Silent Way" Mobile Fidelity Lab SACD. Not competing too well with the chain saw as more tree work is done here, but I'm still enjoying it. duaneiac
Beautiful song by Jule Styne & Carolyn Leigh given a sensitive performance by the wonderful Maxine Sullivan and Glenn Zottola's muted trumpet is icing on the cake. I believe Ms. Sullivan's recording of this tune is the only version of it in my collection. More singers should consider adding it to their repertoire
