Sound quality is plenty good enough, though I think it may be needle drops (but if so, from high quality vinyl). That company (M.I.G.) has put out some really nice releases over the past couple of years, including a "Gary Bartz NTU Troop LIve at Bremen 1975" 2CD set which is the best Bartz I've ever heard. Also an excellent Marion Brown Live in Bremen 1969 2CD set from earlier this year, and other interesting Bremen releases. Expand Does not sound like a needle-drop. Quote

Rabshakeh Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) High Pulp – Pursuit Of Ends This isn't a bad record, but I do find this type of modern jazz a bit depressing overall. Anthemic instrumental music that has almost no blues in it, and chases hip hop and dance rhythms. At the end of the day it all just ends up sounding like background chill out music.
