jazzbo Posted July 6, 2023 Report Posted July 6, 2023 Orquestra Popular De Camara,” Adventure Music cd Quite an adventurous listen with tablas, violin, cello, piano, guitar, some sax and flute and wordless vocals. Wow. The usual excellent sound from Adventure Music as well. 600×600 102 KB Quote
Justin V Posted July 7, 2023 Report Posted July 7, 2023 I really don't think I had any Fats Waller other than the very recently acquired session from the Freeman/Condon Mosaic and the Louisiana Sugar Babies session from the James P. Johnson Mosaic. I decided to dive in with both feet and grab this volume. Quote

jazzbo Posted July 7, 2023 Report Posted July 7, 2023 A little quietly as Lucinda is sleeping, though luckily in the downstairs bedroom where she can hardly hear the music when played quietly at all. Nat Pierce, “Kansas City Memories” Fresh Sound 2 cd set. Discogs Nat Pierce Band - Kansas City Memories View credits, reviews, tracks and shop for the 2006 CD release of "Kansas City Memories" on Discogs. Basie-centric in many ways, but pretty as the focus. Quote
