Yes, I got two Tone Poets and a few of the BN Classics in the sale. A rare occurrence!

Now Playing

Stanley Turrentine "Rough & Tumble" Blue Note/Tone Poet LP

Another one from the Sound of Vinyl "Free" sale.

Ezra Collective tearing it up at Glastonbury

Made a point of avoiding that area like the plague on my drive through the general vicinity last night. The town is full of nutters at the best of times !

Grrrrrr...😂

That ‘Rough and Tumble’ is a good reissue. Amazon have been discounting it over here as well.

Currently listening for the first time to George Haslam – Argentine Adventures Part 3: Travels With My Tarogato, which I only know about from a tip off from @Д.Д.

This is the kind of playing and record I really love. I'm surprised that this is the first I have heard of Haslam, other than his playing on Lol Coxhill's Holywell concert, which I found fairly underwhelming. Any other recommendations for him or groups he played with (including any other records in this series that are as good) would be appreciated.

I noticed an upcoming reissue, was watching for release and listened to samples, but decided against it...matter of priorities as I've spent a lot of $ on recordings recently.

@T.D. At nearly $40, I don’t blame you!
Albums are just too damn expensive these days.
For me, the download was worth getting the 4 extra tracks.

Growing up, Dance of Magic was on my turntable a LOT in the early 70s.
One of those that, with headphones, I played drums with constantly - especially, Blue.
