This "Ginza Samba" has long been one of my favorite tracks -- great swinging playing all around, not least of all by guitarist Eddie Duran, the low man on the totem pole of true jazz legends who made this recording, but who apparently is still alive and will turn 92 next week.

Several albums have been recorded at Yoshi's Oakland location.  I wonder how many were recorded at the short-lived SF location?  Ms. Fontaine is a vocalist (the first I've herd of her, but she sounds pretty good) and is featured on most of the tracks here, so this outing is not for "hot club" purists.
