Beneath the recordings from ICP Orchestra (consisting of musicians around Misha Mengelberg) this platter really nails the spurit and music of Herbie Nichols .... other hommage projects pale in comparison ....

Santana "Caravanserai" Sony 7" SACD with stereo and quad mix

This was just released and sounds fantastic (I am only playing the stereo layer). I have the Mobile Fidelity SACD as well, which also sounds fantastic. This one is perhaps a hair more dynamic and a bit crisper sounding.
