They're just using the Baker/Mulligan aesthetic as a jumping off point for doing their own thing. I picked this up when it came out. Chase has been teaching at Berklee for a long time and used to play pretty frequently in the Boston area before Covid. I haven't seen him on a club schedule in a while.
