jazzbo
This beautiful album is like a time machine for Bossa nova. . . taking you in the present to the past and the future and wrapping you in a beautiful weave of great arrangements, performances and engineering. jazzbo
Albert Ayler "Revelations" Elemental Music 4 cd set, disc 1 The sound! There was only one quarter or less of this released in decent sound previously, and the sound here is even better, which makes this music more accessible. It took me a while but I have learned to love late Ayler, and I think Mary Maria Parks had a lovely voice. HutchFan
NP: The Singers Unlimited - Masterpieces (MPS, rec. 1971-1980) I've never been able to get much of a foothold on this group. But I'm giving it another go with this compilation.

I'm glad I ordered this one from Amazon as it arrived on release day. I ordered the two Bill Evans and the Mingus from Resonance and hope they arrive soon. Posts like this ease me closer to getting off the fence though
