Rabshakeh
Jaimie Branch - Fly Or Die Live (International Anthem, 2021) This one felt like an instant classic when it came out. I still dig it. It feels like in the last two years several other International Anthems artists have tried their hands at bettering it but failed. JSngry
At its best when the horns are in, imo. But everybody's playing, Remember when JMT was putting out all those records by this version of the :"new blood"? Not Yong Lions, though! jazzbo
It's been a long time since I have spun this one. For kicks I read a handful of reviews of this. Reviews are kindof weird and all over the place. It's a wonderful album. . . moody and yet yielding much from a close listening and re-listening.
