What is the concept of this one?

Its a mix of tunes (title named) and some tracks without Infos ---> a real blind fold test for the listener.

Can send more scans if interested

No. We have  3 blindfold test tracks. Have to check the liner notes if there are some hints.43340067ya.jpg

But is that cover so bad that it's good???

It sorta reminds me of those odd-as-hell MPS album covers.   Like the designer/photographer is going after that same strange, eye-catching effect intentionally.

Also, I wonder if they stole those boots from Alphonse Mouzon. :P

Sal Nistico "Live at Carmelo's 1981" Fresh Sound 2 cd set, disc 2

6a00e008dca1f0883401b7c935997f970b-600wi

Back at the end of the 'nineties I transferred this to cdr from a cassette that Danny (DEEP) D'Imperio sent me. This sounds considerably better. Interesting work by all.

Bass – Frank De La Rosa
Drums – Chuck Piscitello or John Dentz
Piano – Frank Strazzeri
Tenor Saxophone – Sal Nistico
