Rabshakeh
Carlos Garnett - Let this Melody Ring On (Muse, 1975) Man, this record is good. Just all kind of zaniness going on, but with great tenor playing too. Edited March 21, 2022 by Rabshakeh

Glad that Might Quinn reissued it on CD before ceasing operations.

HutchFan
Just now, Teasing the Korean said: I would have to lead up to that one! Well, I discovered that LP while I was working on my 70s jazz blog. I liked the album -- but it didn't whack me upside the head, so I didn't dig more deeply. Recently, I circled back around to Jackie & Roy again, and this time I really fell hard for them. A Wilder Alias and other stuff besides. I've been listening to them a lot lately. I've discovered that I really enjoy most of their music thru the years -- but especially their recordings from the 1970s and 1980s. It's been fun. jazzbo
I think this LP may be where Donald Fagen picked up the "Ricki" riff. jazzcorner
Re: the recently mentioned Roy Kral And Jackie Cain Both appear in an early Charlie Ventura concert . This concert is released on 2 different labels & vinyls My favorite is their interpretation "I'm forever blowing bubbles" with great supporting artists. Both LP's highly recommended Edited March 22, 2022 by jazzcorner typo
