Back in the day, Zweitausendeins in Germany were selling a number of Euro Mosaics including this one for about 30-40 Euro. That was the source of mine. Sadly, that deal was a one off and they have never stocked any Mosaics since then. The other one I remember getting in that deal was Tal Farlow’s ‘Concert Band’. Little did we know it but that period was a golden era. Got the feeling I also picked up Basie Verve and Roy Eldridge Verve in that gift-horse offer. Those were formative places Never went to the one in Düsseldorf, but the Köln one that was stuffed in that corner was fun to go to. Those were formative places I remember visiting their Munich branch in person. Back in the 1980s their prices compared very well with anywhere in the UK.
