jazzbo Posted May 19, 2021 Report Share Posted May 19, 2021 Been off the web a little less than usual--my wife asked me to try and spend less time online and I'm trying to honor her as I pledged to do.  I took some time off to make moussaka last night. . . and used lamb for the first time. Came out well!  Last night I played two different Keith Jarrett Quartet discs, with two different Quartets, "Personal Mountains" and "Eyes of the Heart." There's a reason these haven't been spun in a while--neither is among my favorite Jarretts. But was fun to spin them again.      This morning I was on a Blue Note kick. First Wayne Shorter, "Juju" Blue Note Japan 24Bit by RVG cd.    And then a newer Blue Note, Cassandra Wilson "Glamoured"   Finally so far today "The Complete Joe Henderson Blue Note Studio Sessions" disc 5, "Mode for Joe" and alternates.  Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
