Yeah, boy. Lots of sampling here: Steve Miller, György Ligeti (with a nod to Stockhausen's Hymnen: Region IV breathing segment - or is it "Dave Bowman" from 2001: A Space Odyssey"), The Dubliners, Pink Floyd, ... I think it may work better as a suite of tunes that segue rather than individual ones - even with the Dixieland tracks folded in(!) Maybe Zweistein could be a close comparison or even Marks & Lebzelter, but there was more of this kind of thing during those times than people want to admit to.

Is there some documentary out or something? I've noticed a dramatic* increase in references to Henry Cow in the last week or so on social media.

*A dramatic increase of 300% from 0 to 3.

I'm really enjoying revisiting the David Sanchez Columbia releases. This is another one with great work by Miguel Zenon included, and I love the way that Sanchez includes Latin feel to the pieces without overwhelming a jazz swing. This one is also well-recorded.

Absolutely! The combo of him and Zenon really works.

This one grows on me. I have the new cd reissue from Real Gone Music as well, which may sound a bit better.
