Just a different and more modern way of approaching to the design, development and implementation of IT projects, with partial and periodic mini-projects (installments) as "minimum deliverable projects", instead of only a large one ("waterfall project approach"). Now gettting back to a disc I revisit every time I am in the mood for it, which happens quite often: Quote

Dub Modal Posted April 7, 2021 Report Posted April 7, 2021 Hawkins' efforts on this one make the whole album for me. Some of these tunes could have easily veered off into hokey-ness but for his playing. Very nice showcase for him. Quote

Rabshakeh Posted April 7, 2021 Report Posted April 7, 2021 (edited) Lester Bowie's Fast Last! (Muse, 1974), prominently featuring the brilliant Mr. Hemphill on alto and some very serious John Hicks playing. I feel like Bowie's two Muse records were big news if you were around at the time but have gotten a little lost in the shuffle for those of us who weren't. Possibly it's because Bowie passed away before he could have his critical reputation restored (as with Braxton and Taylor). Edited April 7, 2021 by Rabshakeh Quote
