I so regret not getting this during the Target 3 for 2 sale earlier this year. His tone on this record is amazing.

Yep. Since it's sold out on bandcamp, I was looking at resellers on discogs.  Factoring in shipping, it would cost me north of 50 bucks.  I'm too cheap to spend that much on one LP.

So I guess it's streaming for me. ;)

A 1956 concert in San Bernardino.  12 of the 17 tracks are Bill Holman arrangements.  Bill Perkins, Lennie Niehaus and Carl Fontana were among the primary soloists and Curtis Counce and Mel Lewis were in the rhythm section.  Audio quality is okay, if less robust than one might hope with this band.
