Overwhelmingly brilliant, I would say. Some tempi are absolutely crazy, as in ‘Tempus Fugit’.

And yes, I was prompted to revisit this album by your mention in the Later 1940s thread.

Disc 3: With my current Don Cherry binge, I had to pull this one out.  I need to organize the alternates from this set. 

I've been told that this set can be marred with overuse of noise reduction but I didn't notice it on my set. It may be there, but it's not obvious to me. What's your take on this?

Oh, I wasn't aware of that one. At Ronnie Scott's and with a DSM cover. Will have to watch out for it. And the label is Resonance? Does it have anything to do with the present one? I imagine not. The logo is completely different, plus with a DSM cover it must be from another time.
