JSngry Posted November 5, 2020 Author Report Posted November 5, 2020 Any and all criticisms are valid, but the fact remains that there is some seriously badass guitar playing here in front of a seriously badass band who is doing some seriously badass (role)playing. I mean, Phil Upchurch on rhythm guitar, that's all you need to know. Phil Upchurch ain't gonna leave the groove at home, you know? Besides, some of this singing ir REALLY good. And some of it's not. Oh well! Â Quote

Justin V Posted November 6, 2020 Report Posted November 6, 2020 From the Bee Hive Mosaic. Roy Haynes! 'Donna Lee' done at such a breakneck tempo is a heck of a way to start the record. Quote

Gheorghe Posted November 6, 2020 Report Posted November 6, 2020 I purchased it yesterday. Great Encounter of Dexter with Al Haig. But Maybe not among Dexter´s greatest Albums, but interesting enough for listening... Quote
