jazzbo Posted September 29, 2020 Report Posted September 29, 2020 I’m waiting for my Super Deluxe Edition of “Sign O the Times” to arrive. … of couse when it does arrive I won’t be able to listen to it til tomorrow. My wife is napping right now so I’m sneaking in one disc, disc 2 of Keith Jarrett/Gary Peacock/Jack DeJohnette “Always Let Me Go–Live in Tokyo” . . . I’m just in awe of the sound of my system this last week. I found an old Bugle Boy Holland 12AU7 in one of my boxes of tubes that is the perfect tube for one of my components and just cryatalized the tonal balance I love. Quote

When they came out in the late 70´s Maybe early 80´s we all purchased them as soon as they came out. I think "Billie´s Bounce" OR...the bounce of Billie (I think that´s how Dexter announced it) came out a bit later…... The first I had was "Cry Me A River", "Cheese Cake" "King Neptune", "I want more" and so on...... Quote

Yes, "Billie's Bounce" and "It's You Or No One" came out a bit later (but not so later: 1983, whereas the others were released btw 1979 and 1981; as an additional minutiae, CD release date was the same for all of them, 1990). "For the first lady of the Montmartre. We're going to do Charlie Parker's 'Billie's Bounce' OR 'Bouncin' With Billie'" Quote
