I am definitely a fan of Michael Cochrane. Were you aware of their second recording with Mr. Gross?

I was not!!! I have ordered it from his site. Thanks for the heads up! I also ordered Michael Cochrane with Lines if Reason - MC2001 on the off chance Mr. Gross is on it too!

And cheap copies to be had from US sellers on discogs too ..

I have this one. It’s fantastic! I also have a couple of his more experimental releases under gdg and the things I found to be true album.

I finished the Kenny Barron album and decided to go with another Philly great.

Funnily enough, I once saw Ray Bryant with guests sat in front of me in the audience at a Toronto Club. I think it was the ‘Top O’ The Senator’ - can’t recall who was playing.

Nice!  For as prolifically as Bryant recorded and worked with everyone, it feels like he is overlooked.

Having listened to McCoy's Soliloquy and Coltrane with Dameron on Mating Call, today's Philly celebration continues with this:

He was introduced from the stage, stood up and took a bow. From my recollections he was sat with a group of what looked to be ‘locals’, so probably up in Toronto for the weekend visiting friends. I need to get hold of that Label M CD !
