HutchFan
Eddie Fisher & the Next One Hundred Years (Cadet, 1970) Not the guy who fathered Princess Leia and then scandalously left Debbie Reynolds for Liz Taylor. This is the other Eddie Fisher.

I haven't yet heard him on baritone, which I believe is his primary instrument these days. Nice player. I'd like to buy the two-disc set that pairs Howling Monk with Suite Clarity. It's cool hearing the underrated Danny Grissett early in his career, too. I enjoyed this 2 cd set but it isn't something I dig out much. Had it for a few years and this is the second or maybe 3rd time i've spun it. Now playing: This shit is fantastic and has stayed in rotation since I got it a few days ago. Rabshakeh
Gruppo Di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza - s/t, 1966. I think this may have been Ennio Morricone's first record. Some difficult stuff to digest. Duck Baker - Spinning Song: Duck Baker Plays the Music of Herbie Nichols, 1996. A finger picked take on Herbie Nichols that doesn't sound at all bluegrass. It comes across as a mellowed out John Fahey, really. A nice record.
Buddha the Magnificent
The Jayhawks - XOXO (2020). Gary Louris - guitar; Marc Perlman - bass; Karen Grotberg - keyboards; Tim O’Reagan - drums. They all sing.

Saw him twice around 1990. First at Wigan with Paquito D'Rivera and a Latin rhythm section - one of the most sizzling of all gigs I've attended! Then in Manchester with the Dizzy Gillespie United Nations Orchestra with his sparring partner Arturo SandovaL
