I was at the Regattabar in Cambridge, MA to see Marcus and Byard play as a duet shortly after this disc was issued. The whole of Harvard Square, where the Regattaber is located, lost power, so, for about 45 minutes, Jaki sat out in the lobby chatting with us as we waited for the power to come back on. Eventually, they had to cancel the show.

Jaki was murdered a very short time later.
