I saw Sam Rivers live in spring 1980 with his trio. Sam very kindly signed my DMM copy of this one on the front. Unfortunately, it smudged - but it is still a treasured item. Need to frame it up ! I agree - it is very underrated. The needs to be a Tone Poet LP reissue to provide a definitive version.
