I have no data to prove that, and of course they both bent both ways. But that was just an impression I had after playing that record a few times this morning. Actually, that's one of the most wrong things I've ever said about anything. Must have had the needle on the wrong cd of the CD turntable, I don't know. Just finished this, Teddy Treasure, though. with no crazyass wrong impressions. It's just a damn good record, period. Quote
EKE BBB Posted May 24, 2020 Report Posted May 24, 2020 Revisiting one of those few discs which can turn a dreary morning into a bright and shinny day. If you don’t believe it, try and play ‘Isn’t It A Lovely Day’ at a high volume, and sing (shout!) along while doing something at home, e.g. cooking. You will see life differently in a couple of minutes. It works for me! 😀 Quote

Gheorghe Posted May 25, 2020 Report Posted May 25, 2020 That wonderful 1969 quintet with Wayne, Chick, Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette. It´s the point were they still had some "old stuff" like Milestones and No Blues, and stuff from Bitches Brew like "Miles Runs the Vodoo down". And reading Ian Carr´s book about Miles I enjoyed the extraordinary story about Dave Holland how it went that he was hired by Miles. Quote
