The Manne date above...closer to a Woody Shaw record than it is anything else...and in 1969, wow. Was Woody out there then? Seems like he was? Even if not, these people were hearing along the lines of what he was hearing. That, and one more piece of Don Ellis Overflow.

The two other records by the Manne/Gross/Barone band (Mannekind & Alive In London...are there any more?) come nowhere near this one, in any regard. What a find!

And never on CD, correct?
