Justin V Posted October 30, 2019 Report Posted October 30, 2019 The highlight of my day has been when my daughter, who is about 21 months, started to sing along with Ella's scatting. Quote

jazzbo Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 Had some all over the map listening today. Started with Miles Davis, "Pangaea," the Japanese LP facsimile 20 bit remaster from '96. Then moved to Bob Dylan, "Blood on the Tracks," Mobile Fidelity Lab SACD. Followed by Wes Montgomery. "Full House" on DCC gold cd, sure haven't heard that in a long time. Moved to Stan Getz, "Getz a Go Go," Verve Original cd. And finished up with a new arrival from today's mail delivery, "J.R. Monterose," Blue Note Japan "24 bit by RVG" cd. Quote
HutchFan Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 For years, I've listened to this music as MP3s, downloaded from emusic.com. A few weeks ago, I decided to upgrade for better sound -- but the CD is oop in the U.S. So I ordered the Solid reissue from Japan. Just got it today. Also got this Black & Blue / Solid reissue for the same reason: Two of my Black & Blue favorites. Hank Jones and George Duvivier play on both of these records. 😁 Quote
