Cyril Posted May 12, 2017 Report Posted May 12, 2017 (edited) Feat. Senegalese saxophone player Thierno Koite (Orchestra Baobab). This brand new album features a list of newly written compositions with Thierno Koite, as well as a couple of songs from Thierno’s own repertoire and even some of our own songs recorded in a new big band arrangement. jazzbo Posted May 12, 2017 Report Posted May 12, 2017 This time it's the CTI Supreme Series Blu-Spec CD version. Which sounds spectacular (in its mellow fluid way). Love this music so much. Quote

Bluesnik Posted May 12, 2017 Report Posted May 12, 2017 This double disc (it actually contains three albums. All recorded in 1956) holds a high position in my list. I listen to it often. It unites Criss with Barney Kessel and Kenny Drew, on the first session, and Sonny Clark and Lawrence Marable, on the other two. Quote
