Yesterday I played the stereo disc in this set, now onto the mono original release. I think I prefer the mono by a hair–fantastic music.

Bob Rockwell is a wonderful tenor player. He is an American who has lived for many many years in Denmark so is less known by American jazz fans. This is a very good album.

I gave this disc its probably fourth SpinClean cleaning and it does sound cleaner.

Wish this were reissued on cd!

All test pressing sides but one which was an ARC disc for theaters only (not sold in stores). Sound is surprisingly good. I bought this about 7 years ago and haven’t listened to it much. Mostly small group sides, 1933-1941
