finally got me started with the rest of the series and with the first tunes I immediately knew I did right to buy the whole series. This is classic Tapscott in the Arkestras finest hour. Man this guy was something special for sure and how I would have loved to have seen him perform right there at that church. It must have been an experience. I could also confirm that the sound quality is miles better than the first release. 
 

What frightened me most was the size of the whole project. How could someone digest ? I now decided I just consume it in small portions: one of these masterpieces a week. Fortunately there is enough variety composition wise. Way to go Nimbus and way to go Matt!

That’s a great idea. I don’t get her to see Parker though. The idea of it makes me laugh. And to tell her upfront that Evan Parker is one of the more accessible folks in jazz: something like Norah Jones without vocals. And than the look on her face when he starts to play… that would be priceless 😂

Listening to some mega groovin´ stuff in the small hours (Not a Tour de Force from me. Just my usual time of the day, where my mind is really bright.......musician´s live 😄.

 

I listen with headphones because it has to be reallly LOUD, I mean like it is played live, and I am "in heaven". 

This night I didn´t listen to my usual preferences of insider´s music, I just wanted to enjoy a really really really happy day !

All albums here is with exactly the same personnel I saw them live back then, decades ago, possibly that´s the reason why I picked them up.......

Enjoying the warm morning while it lasts. Some of the sloping sheet of ice that is my driveway has melted, that’ great I think.

Starting off with this classic in great sound. I almost listened to the Bootleg Series volume that features these tape reels, but decided to just hear the familiar glory of the released material only.

This has had many issues and names but until recently I slept on all of them. What a shame this is an absolute classic.
