He talks about April in his autobiography if I remember correctlu. I am hardly ever out in the evening/night, I get up so early for several reasons that I retire earlier than many. Besides, I live out in the hills in the country at the edge of a forest and to travel to where there is night life is a good part of an hour. . . not worth it for me, and my wife is not into it either. So it's daytime weather that impacts me. We're having a heavy snowfall winter for the tirst time in several which I am enjoying because it gives ll these trees a lovely costume--otherwise there are acres and acres of bare trees and that gets to me. Also I think I'm used to talking/writing about the weather a bit because a) we do get four distinct seasons and varying weather within them, that does cause the weather to rise to your consciousness and b) when I first returned from Africa I felt completely out of place and needed some sort of small talk openings to get to know and understand conversations with peers and adults. . . talking about the weather was always a good opener. I notice that I am falling back on that of late, not sure why. Right now A 28 degree morning! For some reason ye olde dachshund let me slumber an extra two hours or so. Wow. I feel groggy! Starting off with Wynton Marsalis Quartet “Live at Blues Alley” Columbia 2 cd set, disc 1 600×600 85.5 KB It’s been a long time since I spun this one. Marcus Roberts really impresses, as always. Thank you so much for that great answer that explains everything. And you really have a great musical taste, you listen to wonderful albums ! Last nights, I have listened to some Pharoah Sanders: Quote

jazzbo Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Starting off with a 25 degree morning, and will get warmer this evening. . .above the freezing point a few degrees! Starting off with disc 8 from this box set. Dexter is often addictive to me. . . can’t listen to just one. . . He had such a distinct musical personality.
