Sounds so good! Miles Davis Steamin’ Prestige/JVC XRCD This was the first Jazz LP I had owned in the early 1970s but it had another cover. 21 hours ago, jazzbo said: A little bit colder than yesterday. . . jazzbo Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago (edited) There’s a promise of near freezing weather today–hope it materializes. It’s thirteen right now. Started off this morning with “Sweet Tooth” by Mali Obomsawin, a thoroughly modern loudish cd that is a good test for my newest upgade to the system, and intriguing music. And now I’m spinning another disc that will help with assessment of the changes, Mark Turner “In this World.” 500×500 58.2 KB 4 hours ago, Gheorghe said: This was the first Jazz LP I had owned in the early 1970s but it had another cover. No, we're just having the fiercest weather here in about a decade, and my wife and I are trying to conserve energy and it is cooler here in the house, and my dog is deaf and blind and finding ways to get her out and about in the morning is challenging. Just on my mind and I decide to converse about it bit. On another forum other American and Canadian posters join in as they are experiencing unusually cold weather. Doesn't influence what I choose to play, just what I tend to say. Edited 20 hours ago by jazzbo Quote

This box set corrects that and shows the development of the tunes, it's fascinating. The single disc is worth picking up. Quote
