I had seen Benny Green and Javon Jackson with Art Blakey in the late 80s. Great tunes. My favourite is "Phoebe´s Samba"....... Quote

A beautiful scene outdoors, especially in the sparse light of pre-dawn and only our house lights active. Starting off with Herbie Nichols “Love, Gloom, Cash, Love” Bethlehem/Solid Japan cd 2024 Just had to listen to this one again. Such amazing pianism and just plain lyrical performances. A benchmark!
