Recorded one week subsequent to their concert @ Montereux Jaz Festival (which saw release on Impulse as "Freeflight" and "Outertimeinnerspace") .... outstanding ....

P.S : As usual with Transversales Disques they bowed down to the vinyl restrictions/didn`t release a double album so half of the concert remaines unreleased and is circulating within the "grey market"  :

Bogota (15'19),

Effendi (13'42)

Manhattan Reflections  (10'20)

Extensions (23'36)

Poinciana (10'25)

A late start to the listening day due to unexpected domestic issues involving the well pump. Fortunately now resolved. It sure was cold, a damp cold, much earlier this morning.

Starting off with a Stan Getz I had not heard in some time, Steeple Chase cd “Copenhagen Unissued Session 1977” which is a quartet with Joanne Brackeen, NHO Pedersen and Billy Hart. Truly nice sound and performances.
